North Stars Hockey

Welcome to another exciting season of North Stars Hockey.

Coming off a successful run in the Spring (6-4 in the Nequa Valley League), the North Stars are looking to continue momentum this Fall. We welcome our new teammates and community from Chicago South.

Fall/Winter details:

• Late July 2024 through March 2025 (exact start date to come)
• 5th/3rd Arena, Franklin Park Ice Arena and Willowbrook Ice Arena
• North Central Varsity Gold and JV Silver divisions
• Two or more tournaments
• ~ 40 games.
• JV Practices are Tuesday at 7:10pm, Willowbrook. Varsity practices are Tuesday and Thursday at 9:40pm, 5th/3rd. Friday nights, Sunday days and Sunday evenings will be used for additional games and practices
• Home games are typically Friday and Sunday nights
• 2-3 skates per week on average, 3-4 during height of the season
• A late summer program will include both on and off-ice conditioning

All players from from IC Catholic Prep, Jones College Prep, Kenwood Academy, Nazareth Academy, Northside College Prep, Proviso Math & Science Academy, Riverside-Brookfield High School, St. Laurence High School, St. Patrick High School, Von Steuben Metropolitan High School, and Wolcott College Prep are welcome to join the team.
